The boots were a substitute for some other similar Clarks blue boots I wish they still carried. I think the wrinkled formations on the top of the boots is "different" I could do without it, but eh, it's do-able. I also put up with the fact that the soles and thread are a contrasting color. Would be nice if it was all blue. I'll compromise all that for a comfortable shoe and this is comfortable. These boots wear well and last. Really decent quality for the price. As you can tell, I would buy this brand and quality again. I think my other similar pair had the zips on the outside instead of the inside, good zipper either side. They are easy to put on and take off. They keep my feet at a good temperature. The size is slightly longer than I usually wear, but it fits better than expected. I'm happy with them. Read more

I've been looking for a while for a leather bootie that was both affordable and comfortable. I also wanted navy, as I will be wearing these mostly with jeans. These check all the boxes! The navy leather is very soft and supple, and the navy has a bit of gray to it, so it's not overly "blue". I read the previous reviews and saw the recommendations about sizing up one, and I ordered a 9 rather than my usual 8.5. I have a narrow foot but need a wide toe box, and these accommodate that well also. They fit perfectly. If I had one negative, I'd say the arch support is very little, but I can take out the insoles and use my Superfeet inserts. These are great booties--grab a pair before they are gone. :) Read more

Ordered my usual winter wearing thick socks size [ 6.5] I usually wear a size 6 for this brand of shoes. They are very comfortable worked well for first winter snow. A deep snow will require different boots. I have always liked these well built comfortable brand of footwear Read more
