I really like this particular ankle boot, I got it in wide to accommodate a pair of orthotic insoles, on a trip to Southeast Asia where it rains a lot. So comfortable I bought a second pair in the same size, same color so I’ll have a backup pair. I am a physician who worked in a show store for a year in my pre-med life, and I understand enough about foot anatomy to recognize there is no high heel on earth that does not contribute to foot deformities. I have worn flat comfortable shoes all my life. Besides Birkenstocks, Keens, Naot and Romika there are few other shoe manufacturers whose products are worth wearing, in terms of the price in dollars vs thr price in pain translated through the feet, knees and hips to my back. I’m 62, had back and hip surgery and comfortable shoes are more important to me than ever. The fact that my feet are relatively sound is (free of bunions, relatively free of toe deformities) given the osteoarthritis that runs in my family, I feel fortunate. I recently was prescribed a set of orthotic insoles to correct a leg length discrepancy following the hip surgery, and now it’s super important to wear only WIDE shoes, otherwise there is a problem with my toes getting crushed and my heel slipping out. Of all the shoe brands that I’m able to tolerate, Clark’s are by far the least expensive while still being well constructed out of adequately durable materials. High heeled pointy shoes are cute and the rest of the human race who wishes to wear them can certainly have my share of those, I won’t be buying or wearing them. Read more

These shoes are a bit pricier than I would normally spend, however, worth it. Comfort and style. The medium width fit fine, even with a medium weight winter sock. Read more

Great looking boot but, my size was too small/narrow, with socks. The laces are waaaay too long and found it was a bit tight around the ankle and rubbed when walking. Yikes! that’s why I bought them!! Loved the sole! I'll have to return them🙁 Read more

These are stylish boots with a comfortable inner sole. Clarks usually fit me just right but these run narrow. I had to order again in wide to get a good fit. They are well made like all Clark’s shoes and the price is decent. Read more

This shoe may be comfy & waterproof, but I slipped and almost fell, the first time I wore them in the rain. I think Joseph Seibel is my go to choice for rainy weather shoes. I took these, like new shoes to Goodwill. Read more

I really love these boots…from being waterproof, to the cute style and great comfort, these will get plenty of wear. I first ordered size 7.5 but returned and got size 8 and now they fit perfectly. You can loosen or tighten them with the laces and then just use the zippers from there. You can’t beat the Clark’s quality. Read more

These boots are so comfortable and practical for travel, particularly in wet conditions. I have a rather narrow foot, an Clark's fit my foot perfectly. I wore them all over europe n the fall, often in wet conditions and my feet stayed dry and comfy. Read more

Not “Wide” at all Here is an example of a wide Hoka tennis shoe next to this “wide” boot. Other than the lame sizing, it seems well made. Read more
