The chairs arrived in two separate boxes; 2 chairs in each. They are not lightweight when packed together. It took about 1hr with 2 people to put all 4 of the chairs together from unboxing and unwrapping to tightening the rubber leveling pads on the bottom of the legs. As a person with lumbar issues, these chairs are really comfortable. For additional comfort a thoracic pillow may be needed to sit more upright. These are a great deal for the price. For anyone who purchases these, if the screws aren't perfectly lined up with the connecting thread holes on the back of the seat or the bottom it will absolutely feel like an eternity trying to fasten this thing together. Grip strength is a must if you're using the hex key. So far they seem easy to maintain, easy to clean, and sturdy for being lightweight and managing approx 275lbs. Read more

We have 4 children who all did distance learning during the 2020/2021 school year. In order to facilitate a functional, comfortable, and safe learning space, we bought these chairs. These chairs worked wonderfully with our IKEA conference table and homemade dividers (we needed all the kids in 1 room to monitor them and keep them on task… a couple of our kiddos have ADHD). I’m an occupational therapist and understand the importance of ergonomics to prevent repetitive use injuries, injury from toppled rolling chairs, as well as sensory distractions from spinning chairs and discomfort. While I would’ve loved to buy them all fully adjustable chairs, that wasn’t in the budget. As our kids range from ES to HS, their bodies are vastly different sizes. To accommodate this we provided pillows to support the smaller children’s backs and variable height exercise steps to support their feet (maintaining hips in 90 deg, knees in 90 deg, and ankles in 90 deg). We used keyboard trays attached to the conference table, so our kids’ arms could rest comfortably on the arm rests while they typed. The arm rests were a bit of an awkward height for my youngest child, but he didn’t need to type much. I could’ve simply placed a pillow or outdoor chair cushion on his seat to raise him up had he needed to type more. Overall, the chairs are great quality and held up for an entire school year (and are still holding up as a study space for HW). My kids are rough on things, but there has been no damage to the cushion, structure, or legs. This was a perfect purchase for our needs. Read more
