I've had a hard time trying to decide how to rate this product. I will start with the good things. The bottle is a large size, which makes it a good value for what you're paying for. The perfume is fresh and not heavy and that is nice. However, I didn't care for the fragrance that much. The top notes were too strong and overpowering and the middle and base notes were barely able to be enjoyed. The scent just didn't last that long. I've had other fragrances by this company and enjoyed them but I don't think I'd ever buy a bottle this size again unless I already tried the scent and knew I liked it. This fragrance Amber Cashmere by Clean Reserve H2Eau Collection smells really great! I normally wear Juicy Couture, Marc Jacobs, Liz Claiborne, and a few other brands, but I will now put this on my list as one of my favorites! My husband loves the smell! My daughter said anytime I feel generous, she will take a shot of my perfume! This is a 3.4 fluid ounce bottle, and I was so impressed with the presentation of it! The box was so fun yet simple, and the perfume bottle is very thick with an aesthetic wood style lid that you pull off so you can spray some perfume on. The scent is just amazing, very fresh, and isn't too overwhelming, it's just enough where you can still smell it. Don't let the flowers on the box throw you off if you aren't a big fan of flowery perfumes. I normally am not into floral smells, but this one is very nice and light. When you first spray it on you can catch a hint of a few flowers, but as it dries the smell blends into something more of a cashmere smell. It has a very light smell that doesn't gag you upon spraying it on. We have gone into Margaritaville lobby several while on vacation, and this is the same smell that we would smell when going into their lobby! As for the value, well I think you are paying for the name. I haven't heard of this brand before, but after reading their description it seems that they have been around for a couple of decades. It really is a high end perfume that has a very high end smell to it. As much as I would love to wear this as my every day perfume, I probably won't because of how pricey it is. I’ve worn a couple of fragrances from this brand over the last couple of years and was excited to try this one out. Overall I like it a lot but I do have a few thoughts. Pros: -The scent is very fresh and definitely different than others I’ve tried. It’s clean and bright but unique and interesting to layer with other base fragrances. -The bottle is lovely, heavyweight and looks nice on the dresser. -You get a lot of fragrance for the price, it’s a big bottle and will last a long time, so I’d say it is a pretty good value. -Relatively neutral scent could be worn by anyone and smell great. Cons: -Doesn’t spray overly well, it’s a bit clunky to use and sort of leaks and spits large drops of fragrance every couple of sprays. -Longevity could be better, with the clean water based formulation it just unfortunately doesn’t last very long. A few hours is about all you get from this one. I think it’s a nice fragrance, and though it’s not going to be my absolute favorite I’m glad to have it in the rotation and have enjoyed wearing it this summer when I want something fresh, clean, and slightly beachy.
