Great for my husbands work boots - also my seasonal boots - to store dust free. My husband is an HVAC tech who wears work boots daily and I like having these for him to store his boots without having to worry about possibly a spider crawling in them while in the garage. We've never seen one yet but we also never want to and that was always a concern of mine after seeing that movie about the spider invasion back in the 80's. I already plan to get more of these so we can store more of our boots in the garage now. For most of my boots I either have them on hang racks made for boots with clips or those racks with the poles where you can put your boots over them upside down and they stay inside in our shoe closet. Because I'm a huge boot lover I have probably too many boots and not enough floor and pull-out cabinet shelves to store them on so some of my boots have to go up in the way top of the closet when out of season. For some reason I can't figure out the items stored up there get dust on them. With these clear boot bags that takes care of that problem and the dust can no longer settle on them. Yay. I am using these bags to store the boots I don't want to get dusty when not in use, so far it has protected them from dust. The plastic is thicker than I expected, which I hope means these will last a longer time than others. The zipper works very smoothly and the sewing also looks great. The handles are such a functional feature, and are well-made. My shoe size is 7.5 for women. The big bag fits my below-the-knee boots with no heels comfortably (loosely). My heeled below-the-knee boots bend at the top from how snug they are in the bag, even though there is more room on the sides. The over-the-knee boot pairs only fit because they are fabric, not harder leather boots, and could fit even in the small bag. The smaller bag fits even my chunkiest ankle boots and my DMs. I am happy with the ample storage capacity of the bags, though the big one could be taller and less roomy on the sides. But this is not really a downside, as some boot styles are wider on the calves. Overall, this set is good quality, keeps dust out, and fits most of my boots. I am happy with the value for money, and honestly will probably purchase more in the near future as my closet is unfortunately dust-prone. Read more

Honestly I was expecting to be disappointed. I've ordered some other boot bags on Amazon and they didn't work out since they couldn't hold my size 12 boots and the boot shaft was too tall for the bag......then these came along. I'll start off with the smaller bag. It's more for a hiking or short (women's) dress type shoe/boot. In my photo I have my wife's size 8.5 boot....plenty of room left over! Tall bag: It's definitely tall. My size 12 boots fit flat in the bag. By flat I mean they aren't stretching the bag at the heel/toe and they are sitting on the bottom of the bag, flat.....they fit! I'm thinking they would fit a size 13, though it might stretch it a little at the heel/toe area, but I think they would fit. I think the bag would soften up if it was warmed up a bit (like in the sun). Height: my tallest boots have 13 inch shafts (with a heel that's about 1.5 inches), I have some shorter shafts but put the tallest in this bag. As you can see, there is plenty of room to spare...about 3 inches or so. I have two other boot bags I got from a local retailer, but they are a solid, non-see through material, but they have a dividing "wall" between each boot. I do wish these had that dividing wall, but it's not a deal breaker for me, especially since I can see what inside. I really like the clear nature of this bag! I don't have to open it up to see which pair is inside. When I travel I usually take several pairs of boots with me (for riding, out in the field, casual, formal/"dress up"). The bags also help to keep the dirty boots from getting other stuff dirty and the exotics stay clean. This material is easy to clean and I'd have no issue putting them under the faucet to clean them out if needed. I intend to use this bag for keeping the dress boots/exotics free from dust while the everyday boots get worn (and of course while traveling). As I'm about to submit this review, I'm thinking about the height of this bag....I think it will even hold my boot trees! ***Home from work and checked out the bag again to see if the boot trees would fit. They work with my cedar boot trees (found here on Amazon)!! I like to use the trees to help keep the shape of the shaft and to absorb some of the moisture/odors that may find their way inside the boot.
