Cleans contacts very well! Removes all build up and stays clear for longer than other cleaners. Allows monthly contacts to be used longer (able to consistently go an extra 2 weeks before change out). Have NOT had any issues with containers deactivating solution except in the situations listed below under cons. Only con: container must be kept sitting upright not moving - not able to load contacts and travel. It will leak and/or not fully fizz out (car movement caused issues) causing burning! This works fine. My contacts are dailies, so this mostly gets used when I have to take out my contacts to give my eyes a little break during the day. I'm not counting on it for the heavy lifting of cleaning and disinfect ting that I would be with multi day lenses. The price is fair, especially since this will expire loooong before I use it all. My eyes are fine, and I guess the bottle is sturdy enough. I'm not dragging it around with me. I have those little compacts that hold a contact case, a tiny bottle of solution, and usually some little tools like tiny tweezers or a miniscule suction cup. If you don't have one of those, and you have contacts, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Read more

I’ve used Clear Care Plus system for a while. Unlike regular multipurpose solutions, this one uses a peroxide system that really deep cleans. Just pop your lenses in, fill with solution, and let it work overnight. No rubbing, no hassle. Here are a couple of tips: 1) You must let them soak for at least six hours. If you’re in a rush and try to use them early, you’ll regret it (burning is real!). 2) The bottles are generous in size. I don’t have to reorder often. Just remember, it’s not a quick rinse solution, but for overnight cleaning, nothing beats it. I use this product about once a week.when I know it will be in the solution for the full six hours. For daily use I use the BioTrue solution. That product is great for wearing comfort and long term daily cleaning without the mandatory 6 hour soak the Clear Care requires. Read more

This was disappointing... yes it cleaned the contacts but only after what felt like forever and then i couldn't put the contacts back in immediately because the fluid is an eye irritant i have to make it sit in ther for 6 hours minimum then wait before using contact it felt so stupid and pointless its like a detox or something.... thats the only reason why im not rating it lower. So like if i haven't used said contacts in a while, i can make em sit down for the day before. Read more

After years of using Clear Care without issues, I started having severe dryness shortly after putting in my contacts after soaking overnight in the Clear Care case. Within a couple of hours, my vision would become hazy as my eyes dried out. Usually taking a day to go back to normal after taking the lenses out and using my glasses instead. Later I noticed that this did not happen if I soaked my contacts in regular multipurpose solution. So I think the Clear Care formulation has changed, or they have a bad batch. In either case, I'm done using Clear Care until I hear something from Alcon about what has happened and what they are doing to fix it. Read more
