Nice and well made floor mats for an office chair. It arrived rolled up and it does have a slight chemical plastic smell but that smell fades away fast. Given that it's rolled up it needs layed flat and as per the instructions you need to lay something heavy on the corners until it stays flat. This process doesn't take to long. I know this is supposed to be used on hardwood floors but I got it because my computer chair doesn't want to roll well on our carpet so I was hoping this would help. This mat was perfect size for under my chair and the cutout is helpful for a better fit under the cutout of my desk. As far as it being better than just carpet it is but it moves around alot and my chair still has some issues rolling back and forth but not as much. It feels durable, it is thick and heavy duty. It would definitely work well on a hardwood floor but I would suggest non slip pad or something under it because the bottom isn't non slip. I tested it on my tile floor and it did fine but it does slide around. In my opinion this chair mat is a good value and I would recommend this product! Read more

The mat lays flat after about a day. It’s a little too wide for my desk but I like how my chair easily moves across it. It truly protects your flooring. I will keep this mat until I find something better. I even thought of trimming it to fit because I like it so much, but, actually my office chair rarely goes far enough underneath my desk for it to matter. Very durable & slides easily under my desk. It came rolled up but with instructions on what to do with it before placing it where you want it to go. It lays completely flat so I’m not nervous about tripping G over the edge of it. Which trust me, that would definitely be a scenario lol it seems to be well made & a great value for the price. I got this for my son’s room, he has carpet and not hardwood. But I was very surprised at the size, it came rolled up and I laid it out over night and it went flat with no issues. It’s more of a foggy than clear material color wise but that didn’t matter to me. Read more
