This clear mat is awesome! It’s specifically designed for hard floor surfaces only, and it does a fantastic job. It works perfectly under my desk. This is not a bad mat per se, but after more than a month in place it still doesn't lie flat. One of the corners falls into a traffic area, so it's a tripping hazard. The mat is thick enough to protect our hardwood floor from a rolling chair, and shows no signs of cracking under daily use- but I wish they hadn't coiled it so tightly for shipment. Read more

I needed this for protecting my wood floor, but it's too thin for an office chair. It's not functional and is overpriced for the quality. the office chair rolls over the plastic, it bunches up and wrinkles the mat. This makes it so the chair can't roll over those spots, because the mat is wrinkled and lifting in those areas, blocking the wheels. It also creates a tripping hazard. The mat doesn't stay in place, I had to move it several times per day because it shifts out of place. I tried holding it in place with the desk and other items, but nothing helped. After tripping and injuring myself I finally decided to return it. Don't get this mat. Find something safer, and made of thicker plastic. Read more
