I bought two of these for rocker style light switches. I also bought the company’s smart plug which allows you to control them via your Amazon Echo device. Installation and set up was easy and straightforward. My complaint is that the integration with Amazon Echo is very slow. If I tell Alexa to turn off the switch, it can take anywhere from 5-40 seconds. Average being around 10. I sometimes wonder if the echo heard me? I sent a message to text support asking if there was a way to improve this, and after a few days, they got back to me with a question on my set up. This will not pair with the app. Which makes it useless. It times out before pairing every time. Customer service is ridiculously slow at getting back to you and only by email which is not a practical way to communicate under the circumstances. Their advertising is deceptive because they say that you can buy a switch, which will control any light switchby voice through your Alexa. And then they tell you oh only if you buy the plug. So after weeks of waiting and finally getting the plug, it will not work and the email advice I have been given does not work. It’s a piece of junk. Read more
