Quality as usual
I have been carrying Swiss Army knives for years, I never leave home without one. This size and functionality makes it very easy to carry and is so useful. I have tried the cheap knockoffs and they don't compare. If you want a functional everyday carry pocket knife don't cheap out, get the original. Read more
Perfect - as expected
Good quality, sharp blades. A bit hard for me to open some of the blades, but I guess that makes it safer too, because you won’t open them accidentally. Too heavy for me to carry in my purse, but for that I have one with fewer blades. Read more

This is good replacement to my lost one
Had a red one before which got lost somewhere and I got it again in black since its cheaper. I got these for the most part because of the scissors which are comfortable for nail clipping. I dont really use any other parts the large blade sometimes to open amazon boxes (make sure to clean it with alcohol or acetone from adhesive after cutting box tape) I used the opener to open beer bottles couple of times too. all these parts are sold, my last knife lasted 8 years before I lost it with no decline in performance hope this one lasts too. Scissors need better spring. I think a special package like this deserves a small stone for wet sharpening or at least instructions. Read more
The best basic Swiss Army knife
I own several Climbers. I actually use the corkscrew and the scissors and the toothpick. In my opinion this model has the best price to tool ratio of the Swiss Army line. I like the Explorer too, but I like the lighter weight and narrower width of the Climber. Also the Explorer costs $20 more for the addition of only two more tools. A nice knife for purse, day bag, or glove compartment. Read more
