Clorox Broad Spectrum Quaternary Disinfectant Cleaner Spray 32 Ounces

Amazing product that doesn't overwhelm your senses like bleach would. I used this in my home to clean up a giardia outbreak that a foster dog brought with him. It is a little sticky on the floors, but easily resolved by letting the product dry for a few hours and then mopping. Follow the manufacturers directions, including using gloves. Edit: Hardly any smell, but you can tell that the product is strong and you should follow the directions. Do not use around pets or children - which means move them to another area, clean the mess, wipe it up, give it time to air out, and then you can let your pets and children back into the area. Treat it like you would bleach - you wouldn't want to spray this next to a pet/child because of the fumes and you wouldn't want it to get on their skin. Dealing with OCD and germaphobia, I was horrified to find mold in my floor and mattress. Someone recommended this, and after reading up I was sold. I used this to wipe down nearly every surface in my room, from the walls to electronics and even a recliner. It leaves a very minor film, for most things, or things you aren't touching a lot it probably isn't an issue. In my case, I found a wet rag to wipe down, and a dry rag to wipe off, was enough to resolve the issue. Minor notes: 1) Test on fabrics, in my case it did not alter the color or texture of my fabric recliner, though I also steamed it afterwards. 2) I refered to wiping down, make sure you read the directions if you have specific needs (in my case the mold wasn't airborne, so I wasn't so much sterilizing everything as I was wiping up any loose spores). 3) I mentioned electronics, hopefully obvious but don't spray directly towards any openings- spray a cloth instead to wipe it down (and probably not screens)! I used this product at the recommendation of my veterinarian to clean everything my litter of puppies has had contact with after being diagnosed with coccidiosis. 'Cocci' is a fluke that is extremely difficult to get rid of you can use either ammonia or the active ingredient in this product which is n-Alkyl dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chloride. I'm a self proclaimed germaphobe so I did my research when it came to cleaning products to get through the winter. This products claims to kill all types of bacteria, and virus, including HIV. I absolutely feel this clearer has helped keep me well this winter. My favorite part about it is that the cleaner is fume-free. Although I am willing to get a headache from cleaning spray fumes if it means my house is sanitized, I greatly appreciate not having to go through that with this spray. I use this to sanitize my puppies room as well as clean my house. It breaks down dirt and grease quite well! Smells good and clean too. We adopted a kitten from the shelter and after a day of having her, we realized she had a bad case of giardia (which is very difficult to kill.) We disinfected every area where she had been and we successfully kept our two dogs and other cat from getting giardia as well. Follow the instructions!
