I was having odor issues with my metal and plastic battery operated hands free open kitchen trash can. Tried everything! Cleaning with Lysol. Then baking soda & vinegar. I tried windex. I re-cleaned it after a week and got to 90% after looking for nooks and crannies I might have missed. Inside the battery compartment and the hinges and a couple small plastic moldings. It’s so close to being completely eliminated. I’m spraying the above suspicious areas briefly on a daily basis for a week now and we may be really close to the goal of 100% soon.
