Effective, easy to use, smells clean, leaves minimal residue and kicks a$$
To Clorox (manufacturer) THIS product is fantastic. Please dont change this product or make it so restricted or no longer remains affordable and accessible to most people. As a Director level engineer with 25+years managing labs with large aerospace and automotive manufacturers I understand not only the technical and regulatory aspect of disinfectants and the chemistry involved. As a consumer, I cant help but be sensitive to various concerns and what I use in my home. I tend to be very critical if “green” products that fail to replace traditional cleaning products as far as what we lose by doing. While I fully support healthier more environmentally safe items there is a tendency to give less weight to what the loss short and kong term might be. That said I have tried to keep up with EPA &CDC recomendations and the trouble with outdated references to approved priducts (even reapnaes are littered woth products no longer available, changed chemical ingredients/efficacy/additives etc and fail to notify the oublic ir just never get retested properly, search/source used old link or pdf that isnt current and its a mess. This product is a gem. First, it still contains the active ingredients and percentages that meet the general reuirements for a broad scope antimicrobial targets within the viral, bacterial, fungal and parasitic “world of germs” that can affect me. And still provide a general level if confidence that it will eliminate those that may be emerging or coming in from other places. Its spray form is mist-like and covers well without karge droplets like most sprays where you end up soaking something in order to get full coverage over a surface. It allows you to control the amount and distribution more precisely. Sounds a little overkill but I cant apologize for that. I woukd rather use less and be more effective when it comes to this and the expense it can become. I like the “product inside”and it meets all my expectations for a highly effective general purpose surface disinfectant for germ-b-gone. And the spray form makes its delivery and performance on multi surfaces much more clean and simple (haha). But also the fact that we, in general, tend to be type-A, over stressed, over scheduled, multitasking consumers that may not read all the small print 90 page labels telling you to let somethibg ait fir 20 mins or if it needs to dry or be rinsed. We want wipes that kill everything (except us and Fluffy) in 1 second and dont leave a residue nor damage the surface. That can be used on hatd or porous or fabric or skin without drying or bleaching or harming the water. But we can only create a subset of those wants and this product is as close to what my ideal looks like. It smells nice too. And teenagers please dont ruin it for the people who use it for the purpose its labeled for (ok a little Gen x sarcasm coming out). Great great product. Read more
