First of all, I will admit that I bought two cinnamon toothpastes at the same time, just to see if there might be any difference between the two. There isn't, as far as I can tell. The other one I purchased was the Colgate Sparkling White Cinnamint gel, and I cannot see any difference at all. I switch between the two, for no reason whatsoever, other than to figure out if I like one more than the other, and I can't say that I have a preference. Maybe they really are exactly the same? They sure seem to be. This toothpaste brand has never been what I would consider one of the major players in the toothpaste game. I think it may have something to do with the way it was marketed - more as a way to make your breath fresh and more pleasant to be around than keeping you cavity-free. That was a different angle from most toothpaste campaigns, but nonetheless, a very good product that I have used in the past and wanted to try again. Close-Up was the first gel toothpaste, ever, according to Wikipedia. It launched in 1967, which is probably why I remember the advertisements so well from childhood. The fact that it was a gel! and red! and cinnamon flavored! I don't recall there being other cinnamon flavored toothpastes when I was a kid in the 70s. It was somewhat "exotic" for that reason. It didn't take much to be considered wildly different back then. Similarly, Pearl Drops Tooth Polish was different because of that upside down bottle that was the first of it's kind. This is a great toothpaste if you're a fan of cinnamon and want a different flavor for your toothpaste usage besides the boring old minty ones. As for performance, it's quite good in terms of foaminess and gentle cleaning. My teeth definitely feel smooth after brushing, and I enjoy the cinnamon part, though it doesn't linger for too long afterward. I'm happy with this formula for being thorough and not causing me any additional sensitivity. I have super sensitive upper molars on one side, that I believe was a result of some major gum surgery. So far, no issues from this toothpaste. Read more

I ordered Ultra Cinnamon Flavor Blast and received Cinnamon Fresh Breath. The tube had no safety seal so I was going to return it but then checked AI reviews and it said some manufacturers are no longer using the safety seal and to just make sure box glue has not been broken. My box was smashed but the glue was still intact. I used it and am happy with the Cinnamon flavor. I will try to order the Ultra Cinnamon Flavor Blast when this tube is empty. I use more Uncle Harry's Remineralizing Tooth Paste and Tooth Powder then regular floride toothpaste because it restored my teeth and referenced small cavities. My dentist said I had cavities and I used Uncle Harry's and went back after a year and had no cavities. That was 4 years ago and I have not had cavities since. Sometimes I like the foam from regular toothpaste but that is a foaming agent that supposedly is bad for the human body. Haha! Read more
