These are NOT like the leg warmers we had in the '80s. They are very thin. They have no mechanism to stay up on your legs. I am 5'5" and I have thick calves. You would think that a leg warmer would stay up on them. These are so thin they are not warm. They are short and so not scrunch. There is no mechanism at either end that creates a band that holds them in place. They stretch out and don't go back in shape. I have worn them for 1.5 hours and they will not stay up at all now. I wanted to return them - but it was not worth my time or gas money to drive across town. I am SO glad I only bought 1 pair to see what they were like before I bought several different colors.
