This is absolutely perfect for my needs. Due to health, there are days where I am stuck in bed. When that happens I rely on my laptop and tablet/pen and paper. I am able to prop myself up, adjust the desk to a comfortable position for writing or typing, and work from there. The legs are exactly as depicted, they are sturdy when fully extended. Having the extra space for a mouse, phone or anything else is a very nice addition. The built in USB station connects to my laptop, and powers the lamp that comes with the desk. The lamp is touch activated and was a lot brighter than I expected. It also comes with a USB powered dual blade fan. I've only tested the fan, that will surprise you. Some things to note: The cup holder isn't glued or attached, so it can come out easily. If you are someone who has a weight restriction of 5lbs or less, this desk does weigh around 6lbs. Compared to other desks like this, that I've seen, this one is the best for the price. (I am considering getting one for my husband, as well. Besides, if it's sturdy enough to be a workspace, It will work for a breakfast in bed day) Read more

Now, for the main part of this purchase the USB light attachment was a bit of a let down. When the desk was plugged into the wall the would not work.
