This mount is very solid and well built. I was initially afraid that the ipad may be too heavy for the magnet but the magnet is STRONG! The magnet snaps sturdily to the plate. Even with trying to remove the ipad, you're better of sliding it off instead of pulling it apart. I opted to stick the metal plate to the ipad case instead of the ipad itself. You can get a lot of viewing angles because of the rotating neck. Pros ---- - Comes with the mounting screws and anchor bolts and an allen to tighten the arms. - The arms can swing and be tightened in place with the Allen Keys. - The mount base is about 3 inches. The arm itself is detachable from the base plate if there is a need to separate them. - The base plate has some soft felt to prevent scratching. - It folds down really compact for when not in use. - I was able to use a clamp to attach it to the desk instead of drilling holes in my desk. I've been using a clamp-on tablet arm mounted to my desk, but it doesn't work very well due to how I have my desk situated. With this, I mounted it to the wall and it is so much better. The quality is excellent. I like the design. It saves on desk space. The magnets are very strong. It's very versatile. I am quite impressed with the build quality of this item. It is constructed entirely of metal. It comes with a steel disk that attaches to the back of your tablet, thus giving the magnet something to adhere to. The stand is extremely well built. It should be able to hold any tablet attached to it. An Allen key is also included in case you need to tighten or loosen any of the hinges, I did not need to do any adjustments. The magnet is ridiculously powerful. My wife uses her tablet a couple of times a week for video meetings. This item now gives her the ability to position the tablet at exactly the right height and angle. It comes with screws and anchors to mount to a wall but I just used a couple pieces of double-sided tape to attach it to my wife's desk. I would highly recommend this product. Read more
