I got these because I like the shape of the scoop outs to keep pressure off of my eyes, and I was intrigued by the silicone inserts. With the inserts in, they are effective, but not quite as comfortable and dark. Without the inserts these are really excellent, in some ways the best eye mask for sleeping that I've worn. I could tell from the shape of the eye cups that this wouldn't put pressure on my eyes because they don't touch. But even if they did, they are still comfortable because the cushions are extraordinarily soft and light. They are super insubstantial in a good way. Like little clouds. Also the eye cups are easily slid together or apart to fit eye spacing. The band is super thin, and soft. It is held together with velcro but its low profile and soft. I cannot feel the seam, which is the Achilles heel of some other high quality eye masks. This is one of the few that I can wear along with my CPAP and not get uncomfortable pinching from the 2 layers of straps. It also comes with a very nice case which I'll probably repurpose because these don't really need protection. Read more
