I have several issues with these slacks: wrinkling - these wil defiitely need ironing (which I do not do!). I put them in my steam dryer and they were still too wrinkly to wear too short - I am 5'5" and they hit at my ankle. I feel these wide trousers need to be longer and at least break on the top of the foot. too wide in the leg - I have some wide leg slacks that look nice but not these. I looked like I had on my clown pants. Might not have looked that bad if they had been longer but they sort of swung around on my legs and looked pretty silly. I weigh 115 lbs and my legs are pretty thin so this may contribute to the problem. Overall if you are shorter,don't mind ironing and don't have stick legs (lol) then I guess these might work for you. These fit very comfortably. I do recommend to size up so it fits a little looser at least for me in a work environment but overall I like the style of it. And its straight legged so that is even better I’ve even worn it as a casual bottom since it us very comfortable and not restricting. I thought these would be a nice, dressy pair of work pants. How they look in person is much different than the photos on Amazon. The material feels just like the grandma pants everyone wore in the 80s. They are very frumpy and make me look much older than I am. The sizing seems correct, but the style is very unflattering.
