This bag has exceeded my expectations. First of all, I can see that the stitching is superior to many other bags. It is strong and has no frayed ends or loose strings. The material is quite strong. It is similar to my military tactical bags. Thick, tightly-woven, almost feels like canvas. The pockets are very deep and useful. This was surprising. Oftentimes, the extra pockets are small and only go as deep as they look from the outside. But these pockets go all the way to the bottom of the bag, even if from the outside, they look small! It has made organization and storage of rulers, pencil cases, and books very easy! The cupholders are very well-made. In the past, cupholders tend to break because the netting extends the full length of the holder, making it vulnerable to tears because of the pressure which is out on the netting (from the weight of the bottle and gravity). However, this bag is different. The netting stops near the bottom and the rest of the holder is made of the same durable cloth as the bag. It is VERY STRONG! Finally, the straps are comfortable to carry, fully adjustable and lets not forget the convenience of the handle on the top! That is usually a feature reserved for adult bags.
