There are soooooo many leather backpacks to choose. I spent a lot of time carefully reading the manufacturer’s descriptions and the reviews, matching measurements to my laptop, etc. I spent a lot of time at this. I eventually ordered 5 backpacks in total to ultimately make my decision. I vetted each one, checking zippers, fasteners, straps, hardware, linings- everything. I quickly settled on this one. As a final test I packed it as I would for business use ( laptop, notebook, chargers, wallet, etc). Then a second packing test as a travel carryon with the addition of a jacket, umbrella, makeup bag. I still had room to spare. I honestly can’t understand the critical reviews that included the suggestion that this is not real leather ( it most certainly is) or that zippers are bad, or stitching and lining issues. I put this through all it’s paces and it gets 5 stars all around. I suppose every now and again a bag will slip through that has some flaws or fails. I have to believe the seller would make good in that instance because this bag is top notch, well designed and functional. If there was intention to put out a sub par product I’d see some indication of that. I just don’t. It’s everything and more than I expected. Read more

I just received this back pack. I brought this mostly to fit my 14.6 tablet and small keyboard and a few other things for light travel, work and church. My analysis of the bag: Pros: Nice multi-colored combo. Alot of deep space and pockets Lightly padded straps (could be better). Lining beautiful inside. Light travel more business or casual travel. Cons: Too expensive Concerned color off-white could get stained or dirty quickly. Zippers are not good. If not careful, could get caught in inside lining. Does not stand up well if heavily pack. Cannot stuff alot of things get heavy and add weight to back and shoulders. Kind of defeats the extra pockets space. The back pack it reaches to my butt even when straps are pulled tighter. Definitely not a back pack for long travel. No insurance. Welts in the front part snap pockets if you put to much things + snaps will release. Overall, It's a beautiful back 😍 pack to stare at and for show, but I do not see this to be long lasting base on material and color. I found another smaller back pack that better suits my needs. I purchased this backpack because I got a 16.5" laptop and needed something that would hold this size. The laptop fits perfectly! What I wasn't expecting was all the complements I've received! People saying it looks so sleek and sofisticated! I also love the fact that the straps are sturdy and don't lose their grip on the length. I have three Michael Kors backpacks and the straps were always slipping to a longer length. This backpack is not flimsy but holds its shape, so you can easy see whats inside. This is an attractive design, but it looks and feels cheap. Mine came with some of the paint peeled off which doesn't make it seem like it'll last at all. I am sorry I bought it but I can't return because I need a nice bag for a work trip and don't have time to buy another. Another major gripe is it does not sit up on its own like most other work backpacks like this and just falls over because there is no base and it is very narrow. The buttons don't stay closed either so your stuff could spill out when it falls down. I like that I can attach it to a suitcase for occasional travel, but not durable or functional enough for every day carry. The internal organization is ok at best and very narrow so it is great for notepads and electronics, but if you like to carry something like a lunch or personal items it will all get smashed and lumped together. For the price this bag, even on sale, is not a great purchase for a regularly used bag or high activity usage like on and off a train, riding a bike to work or moving often from meeting to meeting. The bag is beautiful and very spacious — it looks exactly like the photos. However, this is falsely advertised as the bag is not real leather; it’s great quality faux-leather, but I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known. I will say, it is a very good dupe as it has the same texture, stretch, and earthy smell like real leather — what gave it away was the water test! Real leather absorbs water within 30 seconds, which is not the case here — it sits on the surface. All things considered, the bag is HORRIBLY overpriced! Amazon needs to correct the description!
