Take It From An Amateur Clock Builder!
This is absolutely the perfect clock for your space if you use the VERY accurate dimensions as advertised and if you measure to find the right size for your wall. This clock is great quality and it's heavy because almost all of it is made of GREAT quality metal. You need to drill, hang with an anchor using a stud finder that can detect electrical wires! I am a lifetime collector of clocks. The moving gears are a very realistic looking metallic plastic (?) but they do match the metal finish. Style blends modern with classic charm. Despite what my order directed, this came with hands installed on the face. My clock came with with an extra set of serpantine clock hands. The clock is silent except for the moving gears (very quiet) which are decorative and which require a second set of batteries. Time keeping is extremely accurate with the quartz movement.
