"I've been in construction for over 20 years, and I've seen a lot of gear. These are, hands down, the best work pants I've ever owned. ​First, they're comfortable, lightweight, and durable. My first pair is over a year old, and the only wear is from my pocket knife clipping on and off. I keep tools in my pockets all the time, and there are still zero holes. The secure pockets are a great feature, too. ​But here's why I'll never wear anything else. I'm an industrial blaster painter on bridges. I had an incident where I fell and dropped my blast hose, which swept my leg twice. In any other pants, this would have been a devastating injury, probably down to the bone. With these on, I got a little road rash. That's it. The pants themselves were fine. I've also hit them with a grinder's wire wheel, and it did nothing. ​They really are as tough and cut-proof as they say. If you do real, hard-hitting construction work, these are worth the money. I will be using as hiking pants and look forward to seeing how they hold up. I would prefer the pockets to be a bit deeper, but it works. I would highly recommend to anyone. Just put them on for the first time, perfect fit. True to size, feels sturdy and thick, pockets are deep enough, cargo pockets are in a place that make sense and don't bend with knee joints. will be wearing for the next few months and seeing how they stand the test of time, for now - 5 stars. These pants look great and fit loose - the way I like. I have only worn them fishing once, but they are easy to bend, kneel, twist, sit and stand in. Thankfully, I did not test how waterproof they are. Time will tell if these hold up over the long haul, but initial performance is very good. Read more
