When I only wear Cobian sandals, my 70 yr old knees are happy. I tried wearing the sandals with tabi socks in mosquito weather but the socks would slide down. When I saw these boots I hoped they would work as well as the sandals plus keep my feet warm. After only an hour the back of my heels where the seam is was very sore. I finally wore them in by wearing them for short periods of time with thick socks. There is plenty of toe room for my duck feet. I haven't worn them continuously like I do the sandals as I walk on muddy roads with muddy dogs and don't want to deal with cleaning the boots. Read more
