Cocofloss Woven Dental Floss Dentist-Designed Oral Care Mint Waxed Expanding Vegan Kid-Friendly String Floss with Coconut Oil 4

My dental hygienist recommended this. I had already tried it through a fab fit fun box, and had forgotten about it, and never sought to order more. After getting an implant and knowing the need to keep that area clean, AND having the brand brought up to me by a professional, I decided to order some more. I went with Mint, because I recall finding the fruit flavor assortment I had to be a little weird as far as dental floss goes. It was fine, I am just used to mint. So here I am. I considered ordering through their website, but since I am a strong Amazon shopper, I went with what was most comfortable to me. The shipping package is in a Cocofloss branded cardboard envelope, so I think it comes direct from them anyway. 3 packs of floss. I try to be careful with how much I use. If using no more than 18" at a time, each one should last 2 months (total of 6 months). I am actually keeping track of that, so I will report back if I run short. Cocofloss is similar in feel to a cheap unwaxed floss, but better because it has coconut oil, and all the fibers really help grab food bits and plaque-- very important to me when it comes to cleaning out around the implant. SO much better than Glide and other super smooth flosses. I do like it, and will most likely continue with the floss. I dont rate on price, but I do comment. It is pricy, but it is a good product. Funny though, if I didnt use this, I would likely use the cheapest stuff I could find as it tends to have a thicker rougher feel. I dont like the ulta thin smooth stuff. So pointless. This is the absolute best floss I’ve ever used. This floss doesn’t glide like the other brands but, it gets in between my teeth and grabs and removes any food or plaque that is between my teeth. It feels thicker than other brands which is what I love about it. My teeth are closely together and tight and I’m a flosser and can tell you that this is the absolute best floss there is. The taste is good as well. I can’t use the other brands after using this one. If you’re a consistent flosser like I am, give this a try. Cocofloss is by far my favorite floss out there, it was originally recommended to me by a dental hygienist who I assumed was just trying to upsell me, but I ended up trying it out. Yes it is expensive, but I find it works great, doesn't break and the mint flavor is pleasant. I love that Cocofloss now offer these refills as it makes buying it more affordable and saves on plastic waste. Tip for fitting - the refills are easy to fit into an existing container, but make sure that you orientate it in the same way as the previous one and push firmly to seat the refill into the container, otherwise you may find it doesn't come out "smoothly". This floss does a good job of removing plaque and all the bad stuff, I especially like how I can easily hold on to it. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the floss is quite thick so if you're someone like me that doesn't have much space between their teeth then it can be quite hard. Read more

I bought this months ago and finally used it this morning. I believe this is the BEST floss that I’ve used so far. It’s thicker and I think it cleans better. My teeth and gums feel cleaner. I recommend this product. It’s expensive by comparison , but I love the way it works. Read more

Amazing floss. Recommend by my dentist and oh my! It works wonders, after 3 days you feel brand new. The texture is amazing for getting in between those teeth. Yes I did bleed for the first day, the texture is different so if you’re not used to it, you might bleed a bit but once you’re used to it, the notice in your teeth are definitely different and even feel a little cleaner than before. I really want to like this floss. I really do - it’s a clean brand and the packaging looks really nice. The price for one pack of floss is two or three times the cost of regular floss. The floss itself is thicker, which when reading their description of “expanding” to fit and scrub between teeth better sounds good in theory, but if your teeth are even the slightest bit tight or close, this floss is terribly hard to get between teeth. I nearly cut off circulation to my fingers trying to floss my molars. When pulling the floss out of between teeth, it tends to untwist or unravel, making it nearly impossible to get back between more teeth, so you need to move down the floss to a new spot. This makes you need to use more of the floss on each use. It’s a frustrating process tbh.
