I got this Alligator Kids Water Bottle - Easy Open Button & Carrying Lanyard with Zipper Pouch - Kids Water Bottles for School Boys Girls, Stainless-Steel Thermal Water Bottle, BPA Free (With Straw) for my 14 month old and frankly I’m a bit jealous. I don’t even think we had water bottles when I was a kid; the closest thing was the thermos that came with our lunch box. Is this a bit pricy for a water bottle? Possibly…. Is it worth it? Totally! Everything about this ensemble speaks quality. This didn’t just come in bubble wrap in a cardboard box. The package design was very thoughtful and of designer caliber. The water bottle itself is made of a thick stainless steel, with a locking plastic lid with a spring hinge. One cool feature is that even if the locking mechanism is unlocked, you actually have to press on the bottom of it to open the lid. It has a thick rubber drinking spout which you can use with or without the straw. If you don’t use the straw, however, you have to tip the bottle really high to drink, so just use the straw. The enamel on the bottle is beautiful and flawless and the alligator is too cute. I called this an ensemble because it comes with a really fun carrier. The description calls it a carrying lanyard, bit it’s so much more than that. I think it’s made of what’s called PU leather, but I’m not 100% sure about that. It too is of a fine quality. The stitches are tight and even, with no loose threads hanging out anywhere. The strap is adjustable and really soft and comfortable to wear. The holder has a snap at the top which makes slipping the bottle in and out easy. The whimsical alligator face is actually a zipper pouch so your little one can store some cash or house key in it. I tried fitting a credit card but unfortunately it was too big. I honestly have only good things to say about this water bottle and holder. If you are hesitant about the price just go for it, it’s worth it to give your kiddo a super fun and unique water bottle. They will be the coolest kid on the block with this! Read more
