I have been searching for a good phone holder for a while. I have ordered a few and tried a couple of different styles. This one is easily my favorite one so far - it is entirely metal. The grip is a soft rubber boot over a metal clamp, giving both maximum grip strength and the ability to hold its position once secured into place. The holder itself expands wide enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy in a hard case. For $20, you can't go wrong. It is designed to grip onto flat surfaces or around narrow, cylindrical mounting locations in your vehicle. Purchased clamp to attach my phone and battery to a Survey Pole. Works fine, Clamp could be a little more rounded to capture more of the pole. But it holds sturdy for the price paid. The screw clamp holding the Phone/Battery works well and securely . I purchased two and am very pleased with them. Read more

My car doesn't have a lot of console space. I needed a phone holder, but I don't want one that adheres to the top of the dash or clips into and obstructs a vent. Also no on one that sits in a cupholder. I like to use those for...cups. I looked on Google for "best phone holder" for my car, and most clip into the top of the dash and have a crazy long arm. Further, the base and the phone holder are sold separately, and the total cost is from $50 to over $100. I tried this one for $20. There's a handle on my center console that I clipped it to. Perfect! Out of the way of vents, buttons, etc. Super secure, adjustable for any phone. Easy to slide the phone in and out. And all metal. No plastic.
