The shirt fits great, it is comfortable and a nice heavier fabric and it looks great. The faint purple accent colors are nice and it stop presents as a mostly gray and black shirt but the purple spots are visible in sunlight. It is a thick shirt that is comfortable in cooler weather but doesnβt feel like it would be too hot when it warms up. Read more

This exact shirt exists in a three times more expensive and twice the weight, 21oz, in the same western cut and pearl snaps. Lucky Brand sells it. It's double row stitched, rather than single row, and has the same puckered seams Lucky Brand is more green than khaki - and it's made with the same amazing care for detail, probably Made In China as well. This Coevals is a darkish blue/gray. Light weight is great for hot days. Snaps on Coevals Club are easier to snap and pull apart. Choose from more that 30 western plaids. Found what I was looking way down at the bottom. Don't like the cross plaid pocket style, but the zigzag of the snaps panel running up the shirt is different. Was looking for a plain work shirt to keep the sun off my arms. Old guy 6'3", etc., always choose the XXL, and sometimes a shirt will be too big. Coeval's sleeves sleeve fit me perfect, cuffs are loose enough to slip hands thru without tugging. The pleated pockets are proportioned correctly, but could be a little deeper, for cell phones, etc. Material is something else: tightly woven (I think we used to call it poplin) - but this is a 60/40 combo of polyester & cotton, very light, 10.5oz, and beautifully, put together, comes out of the wash ready to wear, not so the Lucky. Tabbing for the snaps and the patch pockets is wrinkled from the stitching. Won't be able to iron out - but really like this down home look on a plain shirt. It's so spiffy anyway, it could be part of a uniform, and so nice I don't want to use it as a work shirt. What am I gonna do? Going to get two or three more. Top button on the front is actually a button, there's a button on each sleeve in the roll up area, plus two snaps in the cuff. There's also buttons halfway up the arm on the sleeves. Nice classy touch that the Lucky Brand: doesn't have, both have the same double snaps and a sewn-on button above the cuff. Always order the tall option when available. This shirt would be 'perfect' with 1 1/2" - 2" more length. But would I be ordering more if it cost $89. OK, the snaps are easy pull apart and put together, for old fuzzy fingers: PERFECT!!! Light as a feather, turns out that makes it so much better than the other... goes on easy, big hands go through cuffs without tugging. Ok for short term UV protection. Thanks. Grateful - but worry about the poor souls who sew it together so perfectly. Read more

5 star if these were 100% cotton instead of a blend. Color selection is great and maintained after washing. Any shirt is hot in Texas, but these seemed to breathe pretty well in 100 degree temperatures. Pretty true to size and hung straight out of the dryer without ironing. I'll definitely be buying more of this type of shirt. Read more

I ordered two shirts, a long sleeve and a short sleeve. I thought they might be nice to use as work shirts since they look nicer than the typical work shirt I usually wear. Nope. You pretty much get what you pay for. Thin material and weak stitching. They are decent shirts for what you pay for but they are nothing special. They are very similar to shirts you get if you have ever used uniforms from a uniform company. There are some other minor notes. The collar is oversize for my taste. The shirt has a "blousy" look to it, meaning that it does not fit very trim. On the long sleeve, if you want to roll the sleeves up, the button to attach the strap is not placed in the right spot, so you end up either rolling the shirt over the button or the shirt is rolled to low and is right at your elbows. The strap to attach the button is also WAY too long, to the point of looking silly. It is the little things that definitely show this shirt is just average but marketed to look like it is better quality than it actually is. Read more
