Nice slippers, but the size guide is confusing
These slippers are pretty comfortable. They fit well, and I love the furry inner lining. They’re soft on my feet, keep them warm, and the sole’s are made of a material that will allow me to wear them outside to check the mail or let the dog out. The size guide was a bit comfusing so I want to clear that up here. A lot of reviews said they run true to size. I would normally take that to mean that a size 12 is similar to a shoe of the same size, but the size guide shows that if my overall shoe length, not size, is 12.3 inches then I need to get a size 15 in these slippers. That seemed odd but I trusted it. I got the size 15 and they fit ok. I wear a size 12 wide or a 12-4E in shoes. The size 15 slippers fit me close to the same as my size 12 shoes do. See my pics for comparison. In one pic I am pointing to where my toe is inside the slipper and you can see my heel is near the end but it does have some room to spare. But this is with my foot jammed up inside it, and not the way that I will actually wear these. I will wear them in a more relaxed and loosened way. One pic also shows the size 15 slipper against the sole of the size 12 shoe, and another shows them sitting between a pair of size 12 shoes and a pair of size 13 crocs. Why the size difference in terms of numbers, I don’t know. But these slippers had a tag that showed them to be USA size 15 mens, or 17 womens. I think I also probably could have gotten the size 13 or 14 and they might have looked more proportionate to me in how they fit. Maybe? These slippers are also maybe a tiny bit wider than they need to be, in this size, but that’s not a big deal. I don’t think I’d want them narrow and snug fitting anyway. Their width does make them look just a little like clown shoes though. But it’s fine, ain’t nobody gonna see ‘em but me, my wife, and the dog. Read more
