❤️ Compact and Efficient Cold Press Juicer ❤️
Long but honest review from someone who has juiced for years and has actually used this product. I hesitated to order this juicer because I already have one, but we have a small kitchen and I’m trying to downsize. This juicer is more compact. I was also curious how it worked and how it compared to my centrifugal juicer. I’m glad I decided to give it a try… this juicer works great and it exceeded my expectations. For reference, my name-brand juicer is much larger and most of the parts are stainless steel. It has two speeds and it has a large capacity, so it’s great for juicing in bulk. It’s an excellent, high-quality juicer, but it also takes up a lot of counter space. The Celiberry Cold Press Juicer has a smaller capacity, but it takes up about half the counter space. The Celiberry juicer also works different. It slowly extracts the juice from fruits and vegetables, and the pulp is very dry so there’s less waste. It’s also extremely quiet. I could use this juicer at night when everyone is sleeping, and it wouldn’t wake anyone up. Juicing takes a little bit longer compared to my centrifugal juicer, but it also seems to extract a little more juice. I’m not sure how it will handle harder vegetables, ginger root, etc. But I suspect it will extract more juice from delicate fruits and leafy greens. We have only used it once so far, so I’m looking forward to experimenting with it more. Another difference is that juice extracted via my centrifugal juicer has zero pulp. The juice from the Celiberry juicer has a tiny amount of pulp, but it’s very fine and I found it to be quite pleasant. The juice also seems to taste a bit fresher, but then again, that could just be the cold press process, the ingredients, the recipe, or something else entirely. Again, I will have to experiment more to say for certain. The recipe book is nice with full-color pictures and simple instructions. The only downside is that all of the ingredients are measured in grams. This totally makes sense, especially if you want to make the same recipes again and want the juice to taste exactly (or close to exactly) the same each time. I don’t have a kitchen scale though, and I don’t plan on purchasing one any time soon. I wish the recipe book included grams in addition to an estimated equivalent such as how many small apples, how many lemons, etc. We generally juice by taste anyway though, and we often make up recipes based on fruits and vegetables we need to use up quickly. We tried the “Sweet Watermelon Bliss” recipe which includes apple, watermelon, strawberries, and oranges. We estimated the amounts at first, and then added more of some ingredients to taste. The finial juice was absolutely delicious!! We made more juice than the included cups could contain, but we simply poured the juice into a larger pitcher and emptied the pulp cup into the.compost bin from time to time. It’s nice that the juicer has a little lid on the side where the juice comes out… we didn’t have to stop juicing in order to empty the cups. Both juicers seem to produce about the same amount of froth. My centrifugal juicer came with pitchers and special shaped lids that filter the froth. I used those to remove the froth from the Celiberry juice, but you honestly don’t need any special tools. The easiest way is to just stir or gently shake the juice before drinking, and drink it as is. However, if you really want to remove froth, a fine mesh strainer works great. Or, you can simply use a spoon to scoop the froth of the top. The machine is really easy to use. My child was able to operate it all by himself, which allowed me to focus on cutting the ingredients into manageable sized pieces. Working together like this saved us a ton of time. My child has helped with juicing since he was about 1-2 years old, and is very familiar with other tools and machines. However I think any child who is responsible and able to follow directions could assist in juicing with this machine. The lid has a small hole in the top where you can easily add additional ingredients. I would of course always advise adult supervision with any machine! It’s great to teach children valuable life skills, but they should never be left alone! The Celiberry juicer is a little more time consuming to clean, except for the filter which is really easy. Some of the other parts have small areas that are hard to reach. The juicer does come with a cleaning tool though, which helped tremendously. I used a standard bottle brush for the larger areas. All the parts are plastic, so I am more concerned about parts breaking or scratching. I will hand-wash only be more careful with it. It’s also slightly more complicated to assemble compared to my centrifugal juicer, but after figuring it out I think assembly will at least be easier the next time we use it. Overall, the Celiberry is an excellent juicer, and I think it’s a great value for the price. It’s a good option for small kitchens and it’s relatively affordable. If you juice a ton and/or are using a juicer for business, you’ll probably want something much larger, more professional, and more durable. But for general household use, the Celiberry juicer is quite useful. I would love to see this juicer offered in a few other colors.. perhaps blue, green, and/or something neutral like white. Additional review from my child: The juicer is really good and it blended the ingredients very nicely. I really like the red color of the machine. The juice recipe was really good too. I like it better than our giant juicer because it has a juice stopper, it’s quieter, and it’s smaller. It’s easy to travel with if we want to take it somewhere. Read more
