This is the BEST portable charger for our heated coats, vests, and my daughter’s sweater!! I am letting my daughter use it right now, since she has been obsessed with wearing her heated sweater, so the added weight just affects that more than my heated coat. Since the battery is super light weight, it doesn’t affect her nearly as much as her heavier battery did. I took & added some comparison pictures and pics of me weighing this battery as well as one of our other portable batteries, that is 16,000mAh, (so only 2,000 mAh higher than this one) and it clearly shows that this battery is FAR lighter and quite a bit smaller!! By far though, the next BEST feature is the fact that we can use this battery for both my coat as well as her sweater, and mine is Type-C and hers has the circle port. I actually don't own ANY others like this one, and I have about a dozen that are specifically for our heated apparel. I also really appreciate that they included an adapter to fit 4mm plugs in addition to the 3.5 and 3.8mm that the regular port fits, without adding the adapter. You also get another huge bonus with this battery, which is knowing the precise battery level it's at, vs. others that either have no battery level indicator, or just the four LED lights that show the APPROXIMATE battery level. Overall, this is the best portable battery pack that I own that can be used for heated apparel. I literally can't think of a single negative with it, not a single one. I would HIGHLY Recommend this one compared to all others I have personally used, and many that I have seen for sale. Even if you prefer a 20,000 mAh battery for your longer days outside, I would personally prefer two of these instead of one of those. As my daughter and I both continue to use it more, I may come back with a better report of how long the battery lasts at different levels, but that won't happen until Ski season, as it is currently only being used in less than 15 minute increments throughout the day, which is nearly impossible to track. In general this is a good spare or replacement battery for my heated vest. The battery fits without needing an adapter and charges in roughly the same time frame as the battery that came with the vest. The battery readout is very nice in that it clearly shows how much charge is left. The only complaint I have is that it seems a bit random in how long the battery will last. I might run my vest on high for about 20 minutes a day over 3 days and it'll be at 60%. Then I don't turn it on at all for a few days and it's dropped down to 25%. But since this is just a back up and it's only about $25 is not a bad deal at all. Read more
This battery pack is a great match for heated vests and jackets that support DC 7.4V or USB 5V connections.
