Cole Haan Mens Grandpro Tennis

These are beautiful shoes. A great cross between the ubiquitous flat as a board shoes like vans and tennis shoes. More comfortable than the super flat shoes and more formal than sneakers. Very soft leather. Not much arch support and I don't know if an insert would fit well. I am between an 11.5 and 12 in most brands (actual foot length from heel to tip of big toe is 11 and 1/8 inches). These fit perfectly in a 12 with room for comfort. An 11.5 probably would fit but snugly. I do not agree that they should be sized down at least based on my experience. If you can get these for under eighty dollars like I did they are well worth it. These Grandpro sneakers from Cole Haan are very light-weight and comfortable, and the rubber sole provides good grip. The combination of black with British tan accents look nice, and coordinates well with jeans or chinos. I take a Mens 10D/M in a sneaker and these fit true to that size, but the shoe lacks structure making the toe box feels a bit large, requiring that I snug up the laces at the toe to keep my feet from feeling as if they are slopping around inside the shoe. These sneakers, while they breath better than some brands, do not breath all that well, so after wearing them for a while, my feet feel damp. At under $80, these sneakers are a decent deal, but I wouldn't pay any more than that for them. Read more

My husband has to wear a brace that connects to the shoelaces on the front of the shoe. He has a hard time finding comfortable dress-like shoes that will allow his brace to be attached it. He is also very hard on shoes and usually wears the sole out on the left shoe after a few months. These are very durable and have held up well. We'll definitely buy these again. Read more

I love Cole Hann and always get their shoes cause of the light weight and perfect fit but somehow these ones are designed very different. Still very light weight but way too much space going on in the front of the shoe. They look really strange on me cause in order to make them snug I have tighten the laces up so tight they end up looking very strange. Read more
