The shoe is very comfortable maybe one of the most comfortable Cole Haan shoes I’ve ever own. I bought both the brown and black pair same time. The cross sole material is pretty cool but after several uses they are noisy. My concern is a persistent squeaking or squishing sound emanating from both pairs of shoes during normal walking. This is particularly problematic in a quiet office environment, where the noise is distracting to both myself and my colleagues, causing considerable embarrassment. The sound is loud enough to be the subject of unwelcome comments.
