I love these shoes! The quality, fit, durability, softness- all good. They mold to your feet and are super comfortable. I’ve worn in rain and after snowfall and slip resistance was good. No issue so far with zipper. They look professional but transitional from work to play. They go with everything. Read more

These boots were snug when I first put them on, but not tight. As I've broken them in over the last couple days, they have become more comfortable. There is sufficient padding and arch support. I would buy again. Read more

Very nice boots, classic style and versatile. They for true to size. One warning, the side zipper does not go down far enough so you can't get them on without untying the laces a bit at first. After I wore them a few times I could get my foot in without untying, but it takes some real effort. This will improve a little with wear I bet, but it's a definite design flaw. Still worth it in my opinion and I kept them Read more

Absolutely beautifully sewn boots with nice leather. The insole is nice & supportive, too. The 8 1/2 fit as 8 1/2 boots should. They were, like so many other combat boots this season, just too big & heavy for me. The sole is 3/4" thick, a bit chunky for walking around Europe on cobblestone streets, and the heel measures 1 3/4" on the exterior of the boot. My old boots have a 1/2" sole and that is just the right thickness. The boot comes up higher on the ankle, too, so it will be hotter to wear, trapping more heat, in the spring & fall. It also has those darn zippers, adding more bulk down the side. I guess people can't be bothered to tie shoes anymore? I prefer boots that just cover the ankle joints. The biggest issue is how heavy these boots are. One boot weighs 16.8 ounces (a little over 1 lb) or 475 grams. My old boots weighed 12.7 ounces or 360 grams. These are sturdy & well made boots, so if you're looking for a little of this year's (in my opinion unfortunate) chunky boot style without the 1" or 1 1/4" inflexible "tripper" sole, these might be for you. If you are like me & like supportive boots with rounded toes & good traction, without the thick soled, higher-than-ankle work boot look, especially in a size 8, you're out of luck this year! As other reviews said, these really do run small. I haven’t had an issue with other Cole Haan shoes, but these boots were very tight. I couldn’t wear them with my usual wool boot socks, and I don’t want to size up even more or the length will be wrong. I’m disappointed but I’ll be returning these and trying something else. Otherwise the soles are comfortable and they’re nice looking, but they’re already a pretty chunky boot style and I think going even bigger would give a “clown shoes” look, so this isn’t the style for me. I've put off replacing my boots for so long (literally like two years of them leaking when it rains, and I live in the PNW) trying to find a new pair that I liked and fit well -- these finally fit the bill. I did need to go up half a size (usually an 8.5W, got 9W; could poooossibly go to a 9.5W but once these break in I think the 9W will be perfect), but they look great, seem good quality, and aren't absurdly narrow (love that they come in a wide fit, too). Absolutely exactly what I hoped for. These are so comfortable! I read a lot of reviews on these boots and countless others and was quite convinced but then I read one isolated review mentioning that they're heavy. A big search again and I came back to these. They're light! Not in anyway heavy or sluggish but quite lightweight yet sturdy and I'm rather sensitive to heavy shoes/ boots. I highly recommend these Read more

I would give this vendor zero stars if I could. I ordered a 10 wide, and received a regular size 10 TWICE. The regular width runs narrow and doesn't fit, which is why I ORDERED WIDE. Why advertise something that you can't fullfill? That is called false advertising and it really got my hopes up. Very disappointed. I returned these. I would appreciate if the vendor would remove the 10 wide from the listing, or contact me to help get the correct size. Unfortunately the manufacturer is no longer producing this style, or I would've ordered directly through them. It already sucks enough to have big, wide feet that require orthopedic inserts, thanks for crushing my dreams of possibly having an attractive, quality pair of boots that could've accomodated that. ),: Read more
