This was a replacement for the same model RV roof air conditioner. It has performed well with no issues. The greatest challenge for installation is getting it on the roof of the RV. Once it is in place on the roof, the rest is straightforward. Read more

Although this can be loud during the day, I just turn it off at night prior to going to sleep. It was easy to install once I got it up on top of my 5th wheel. Took about 1 - 1.5 hours to install including taking the old vent out and doing some patchwork. I purchased the heating coil for it as well which was nice to help not run the furnace on colder nights, and honestly I sleep better with a little noise from the low fan. This outputs great cooling capability as I have 2 units on my 5th wheel. I use this one in the Master since it is a stand-alone on/off type and run it continuously while the main AC unit cycles as needed to maintain overall temperature. Without a 2nd unit my RV was not able to maintain 70 degrees if outside temps were nearing 80, now I have no problems maintaining 70 when temps hit 90. Looking forward to a much 'cooler' summer! Nothing to dislike we finally got to use our new a/c on our camping trip. Temp outside was around 84 degrees the unit works awesome we actually hand to turn it off for awhile it became so cold on the inside. We are very happy with out new coleman a/c. Thank you so much Ron and Polly PS dogs loves it as well. Read more
