Colgate floss is the best floss out there for teeth that are too tight & close together. It slides painlessly between the teeth without cutting your gums. I cannot find it in the stores anymore so I'm very grateful to have found it on Amazon & with multiple packs too. It's the only floss that gets between my tight-together teeth without having to force it which results in hurting my gums like most other brands do. It's strong, glides easily between tight spaces and helps keeps my gums healthy and my teeth free from plaque. Read more

This is the world's best floss. If you have teeth that are close together, this works well without breaking or shredding. Every other floss I've used, cheap or space-age-high-tech-expensive breaks. This stuff is amazing. The value is great for a 10 pack also. For some reason, you can never find this stuff in the big pharmacy chains or supermarkets. I get samples at the dentist, and I have to buy it online. I'm just grateful it still exists or I'd have given up on flossing years ago. Read more

Original (or perhaps "real") Colgate dental floss is absolutely excellent. It's thin and strong and fits between my fairly close teeth better than any other product. THIS dental floss, on the other hand, which arrived somewhat surprisingly from INDIA, of all places, in a padded envelope, is not that dental floss at all. It must be a copy of the real thing, but it's basically just garbage. This dental floss much thicker and, for me, it's completely unusable. It seems more cheaply made as the floss shreds more easily. And when I tried to pull the dental floss out of the container to use it, it would not come out! I had to pry it open and readjust it. I'd say this is someone's bad copy of the real thing, and it's certainly junk. I'm going to throw this ridiculous fake floss away. I suggest you DO NOT buy it. I ALSO SUGGEST AMAZON NOT SELL SUCH FAKE PRODUCTS AND DO A BETTER JOB OF DETERMINING IS PRODUCTS THEY DO SELL ARE THE REAL THING. Read more

I usually get the Colgate trial floss from my dentist every 6 months when I have my dental checkup. It's small and doesn't last too long. They work so well and I'm always disappointed when I run out. Then I buy other brands of waxed floss from the stores but they never measure up. Even though they are waxed, they still get stuck in my teeth and rips. I don't really see the Colgate floss at the local stores so finally I googled it and found this amazing deal on Amazon. It's a 10 pack of my absolute favorite floss! And each pack has way more floss than my trial version from my dentist. Wow, I'm just floored. Again, I can't rave enough about the Colgate waxed floss. They have a good feel to them and never rips at all. They never get stuck in my teeth. They are by far the BEST floss that I have ever used! Try it and you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend the Colgate waxed floss! Read more

My teeth are very tight and are sharp where they meet, so they're serious floss shredders. I have spent a lifetime looking for continually better floss varieties. For years I thought Oral-B Satin Floss was the best I could find, and it's pretty good, but this Colgate Total Dental Floss is better still. Glides in with only the slightest resistance. It still shows a small amount of shredding after going between my very tightest teeth, but so far has not been cut by them. I'm very satisfied that I got such a large quantity for such a fair price from this Amazon vendor. Read more

I was first introduced to a small sample pack of Colgate dental floss that my dental hygienist provided for me after a teeth cleaning appointment and I have never before nor after found a better dental floss even when I tried to purchase a much more expensive brand that said it guaranteed a smooth slide between the tightest spaces between teeth. All other kinds , and I mean ALL because I’ve tried many did not do what the Colgate dental floss (even though it’s not even labeled to fit into the tight spaces between teeth). I likely more closed spaces between my teeth than others have and that fact has always presented a problem for the daily tooth and gum cleaning that is an absolute must. I probably take this more seriously than many because I am a farmer and dental insurance is not and has never been an option for self employed small farming families. Thus avoiding unnecessary dental work, if you can stop it before the problem presents itself, then that’s exactly what you MUST do. Not might, maybe or every now and then. It’s an important part of living because after your baby teeth you only get one set and when that’s gone....good luck if you can even afford President Lincoln’s wooden set of teeth!!! Anyway the Colgate dental floss is the absolute best for gliding in and out, up and down between naturally tight set teeth, without cutting the gums and isn’t so thin that it breaks easily. I don’t know how it works out for people who have overlaying teeth but I believe that it would do just as well in that situation too. It doesn’t have the tensile strength of the thicker Glide dental floss, but it beats Glide by miles in comparison! I hope that this company goes back to mass producing it because it took me a while to find it again! And my dental hygienist has been looking for the small pocket sized versions through their network for the past 7 years but could only find it in too small of packages to order it for her dental office ——-Betty Read more
