I have only used Colgate pretty much all my life and I am in my 80th year and have all my teeth. Not sure if it is the Colgate or the genetics (my mother had lost all her teeth, don't know my father, he died in 1944). But I would like to credit Colgate and this version says it is better against plaque. I'll know more after my next teeth cleaning in August and will update this review if I remember.
