These are awesome. I've never used lanterns, I found them to be so easy to use. I just placed them in my window in bright sunlight for a day or two, and when I turned them on, Wow! The light was so bright. I happen to have had a power outage in my neighborhood. These were the perfect solution . the light from the lanterns were so bright, I didn't need candle backup. The light from the lanterns lasted for at least over an hour until the lights came back on. They are well made, they can also be charged. I loved the price, which is very reasonable. First, I just want to thank the seller, because I received the product the day before the day I needed it. I ordered this item to use lighting the basement while cleaning after the flood. And my oh my!!!!! This product did a very good job. I use the flashlight. Very good lighting. Very bright and able to see the whole space of the room, because the bright light not just lighting the space you are pointing it too but the surrounding spaces, as well. What I love the most of this product is very lightweight. Very easy to use. Hold the charge very well. The size isn't big or bulky, but when you are a small woman with a carpal tunnel.... this is suitable for you. I love how versatile this product is. This has two charging function that is awesome, especially when your there is no electricity. This can be charged under the sun. Though it takes forever to fully charge but hey I take what I can as long as I can use it without waiting for the electricity to comes back. Very small looking lantern, but very very helpful. I am highly recommending this to anyone needs a light helper. And as long as I am ready to send my Balikbayan box to the Philippines, I will be buying some more to send it to my family that are fishermen. Because this is not just good inside the house but is very good for outdoor light and this is a waterproof, so, it is not going to get wet while on the ocean. The lanterns feel extremely lightweight. Theybare easy to use and and will come in handy during a power outage. We did have an issue were one of the 4 was not fully functional. I purchased these ahead of the snowstorm that hit about 35 states this past January. Fortunately we did not have any power outages so I did not have to use them, but they came out of the box ready to go. They will light up a whole room on the strength of the solar charger alone. I keep them in the window so they're consistently charged, and haven't had to plug them in to maintain the power. Power. They're a perfect size for kids and adults alike. I would definitely recommend these as a housewarming gift for folks who need supplies for an emergency van or a power outage. These lights are don’t feel real sturdy and feel kinda cheap BUT they do give off a good bit of light and work as intended. They do have a major CON though. There is no battery level indicator. We will have no idea when the batteries are about to drain and need recharging. As I have not had a chance to use them in an emergency yet I don’t know how long they last before they drain or how long it takes to charge via solar. Another con is for everyday use like walking the dog or whatever it doesn’t fit well in your hand as a flashlight. It’s bulky for that with no side handle to hold it as a flashlight. But as a lantern for camping or emergencies it will do. I think I will keep these as I got them on sale and for the price I paid they are decent. I will keep looking for a solar rechargeable flashlight that will work for everyday use as a flashlight and not just a lantern. You can never be too prepared to have too may light sources. Read more
