They are adequate for grocery shopping, etc., but probably not something I would wear on a first date. I like the elastic waistband, as I try not to buy drawstring pants, as they tend to make a person look heavier in my opinion, especially from a side view. I am a bit disappointed that the above-mentioned pants have no side pockets (or any pockets), but, on the other hand, no side pockets also adds a slimming look. Read more
