Good Value but not a long term piece
This jewelry box is a wonderful option if you need a 'budget' storage option or if this is being used by a child/teen who either may not take great care of it or need it somewhere like a dorm. If you don't look too closely this looks like a very high end piece. It also has a lot of nicer features for storing jewelry like split level storage, cards for post earnings, and an included mirror that also keeps necklaces from swinging and tangling. The reasons I wouldn't ideally store my nice items here or plan to use this long term: - The organizer grid on the inside is cardboard (covered) and not attached to the walls of the box so over time it will deform, tear, etc. - The D ring loop that's intended as a handle is oversized and doesn't feel like the highest quality. By oversized I mean it tends to flop and slide in the loop and hang lopsided. I anticipate that overtime this is where the box will fail first (the leather loop ripping or ripping out because of the play in the ring) and it will become difficult to open. - The necklace loops in particular are a bit difficult to use and because of the design you won't be able to store chunkier pieces, including chains with pendants. There's also not enough depth for the chain to hang in entirety and instead pools at the bottom. There are other areas where your choice of jewelry will impact how much you can store, but this is the major one. Read more

I actually gifted this a few months ago & decided to get a couple for myself. The hidden space behind the mirror for hanging necklaces was a nice surprise. Definitely a good buy. Wish it came in different colors though. Read more
