I LOVE this backpack. It is adult sized but can be used by children. It is so, so, so cute and has the right amount of pockets. The zippers work beautifully. The straps are really comfortable to wear and the backpack is light to carry around. The product is incredibly high quality for the price, and it has survived months of rigorous use. I would say it has high durability. Read more

Purchased this backpack for my 3rd grader. She loves the color and all of the front compartments. She attached cute little keychains and looks adorable. Very roomy, fits her chromebook, binder, books and still has plenty of space. It does have layer of extra soft padding in the laptop compartment. I recommend. Read more

I received my backpack yesterday and today I and took it out for a test run. It is definitely light-weight as it is described. I like the color, but a darker green probably would have been better. I wouldn't ever get this for a school age child and if a college age child wanted it, I would probably tell them to buy it themselves. I'll explain why in The Cons. The Pros: Very light-weight. The whole thing weighs just over 1.5 lbs. With heavy books and such, the pack itself shouldn't weigh much. The fabric is the same kind of stuff they make umbrellas out of, so it is also very waterproof and the exposed zippers in 2 places are covered with flaps to keep the rain out. The zippers are metal. The interior seems to be made of the same stuff as the exterior, so if water gets in, it won't go every where. All of the pockets are are roomy and mostly easy to access. The 1" elastic strap inside the main pocket is very nice for separating books and folders, if you want to have them easy to grab for class. The puff ball is very soft and the little pins are very cute. The Cons: 1. The color is lovely, but it gets dirty very quickly. One trip in my car and it was dirty and is not easy to clean. This is why I said a darker green would be better. A school child would have this thing looking like it had been rolled in the dirt by the end of the day (probably because it had been) and yes it could be washed, but do you really want to empty it out every day to clean it? Refer to image 1, this was after a day in the car and at the hospital. 2. The zippers catch on the fabric in several places. Refer to the second and third image. Had to be very careful not to snag the fabric and I just folded back the top rain flap, but that didn't help with the inner edging. 3. The inner secure pocket is on the back of the first pocket, not on the back against the person's body. 4. The zipper with the rain flap on the outside, is almost impossible for me to get my hands into, so kinda useless for storing anything that I might need to dig for. Might be ok for a kid, but likely would be all torn and raggedy in the corners by the end of the year because the opening is too small. 5. The 2 pockets shaped like a phone, do not have rain flaps at all, so if you live where it gets very wet, not a good idea. 6. The water bottle pockets are small at the top, so will only fit a 1 liter bottle. Anything bigger would fit in the pocket itself, but wouldn't go through the elastic top of it. 7. The puff ball broke off the first time I put my seat belt on in the car. I was not wearing the backpack I had it in my lap. The ballerina is now lost somewhere in my car. VERY poor design for a keychain? The O rings that hold it all together are soft and weak and not the kind that overlap, so they open very easily even with just my fingers. Final evaluation: Not for someone who isn't meticulously tidy with their things, or is super busy and on the go, or is a child who likes to play. Gets dirty extremely quickly and the accessories like the 'keychain' and the pins are not very strong, so they break easily. Read more

This backpack is nice, not top of the line, which you will pay for, but is certainly nice. My first impression is that it is a great backpack for elementary/middle school aged kids. Not too expensive, but comes in colors kids will like. For Middle Schoolers, it doesn't have pictures on it (just a solid color) that might cause teasing and it doesn't look like a "babies" backpack. The little bling that comes with it is a nice reminder to the older kids that they can bling it up with their own personality, which I thought was an excellent idea. These extra bling pieces that come with it are not attached so you can use them or not, or get creative and find some things you might like instead. The backpack is made of a material that is fairly soft and pliable AND I would say it is durable enough to get through the year and probably a lot longer depending on how it's cared for. The stitching looks durable and the straps are padded. Inside, it is large enough for books and homework binders. There are several pockets inside and outside that are great for pencils, pens, markers, whatever, and a water bottle holder on both sides. The only I wasn't crazy about is the cell phone pocket on the front. I use an iPhone Pro Max, so a larger phone, and it barely fit. Width was fine, it was the height. My phone went in to the pocket and the pocket flap went up about an inch or so then back down and was able to lock so it DOES WORK for larger phones, it just looks undersized. Phones not as large as mine won't have that issue. I absolutely recommend this backpack so you can buy it with confidence. Read more
