Well, Dang If It Doesn't Work!
Okay, I'm a skeptic. I bought this "color changing foundation" to see if it really did what it was advertised to do, and frankly, I was prepared to be disappointed. l have a fair but not totally pale complexion, and I often have trouble getting foundations to match my skin tone--they are either too dark, so that I look like I'm wearing a mask despite all attempts at blending the edges, or too light so that I look like, well, a vampire. So when I took this out of its packaging, I was expecting yet another foundation that wouldn't match properly. Well, dang. It comes out of the pump dispenser white. But as it goes on and you blend it, it looks like my natural skin tone--except that my dark spots and reddish areas (I have mild rosacea) are much less noticeable. It's not totally covered, which would actually look odd, but definitely blends into my skin tone while toning down the color variations in my skin. And it's SPF 15, win-win! I may actually have to start wearing this daily. It feels like NOTHING is on my face, too. I do recommend moisturizing first, I forgot and my daughter said (peering closely) that my skin looked a bit dry. To be fair, the directions say to use a moisturizer, too.
