The GROEI Color Changing Foundation is such a cool concept, but I just was not a big fan. The foundation pumps out a little bit at a time, which was great, but the color is a whiteish and never fully matched my complexion/skin tone. It made me feel very pale and I had to put other powder and bronzer over it to get it closer to my coloring. By the end I felt like I had a lot of makeup caked on, which I really don’t like. The make up itself is lightweight and has a smooth texture, so had it matched, it would have been just fine. It spread over my face easily with a beauty blender. Straight out of the box, the pump is broken. So, I unscrewed the top and tried on the makeup. I found it to be a bit chalky and did not easily spread evenly over my skin. I really had to keep using a concealer brush for quite a while in order to get it even across my skin. It also wanted to settle into my laugh lines leaving white lines. It did match my skin pretty well but between the faulty pump and the full arm workout needed to get it blended, I don’t see myself wearing this.
