I was concerned that it would be too dark but honestly it's more a matter of how much you apply once you match up skin tone. There are also 4 tiny pad brushes although you can apply this with a finger tip. Just a little goes a long way and it's easy to smear on and smooth out. If you use a little, it looks subtle.
