The sheer size of these sticks is commendable. Finally, a writing implement that feels substantial in my, shall we say, generous grip. No more fiddly little things that snap under the slightest pressure. These are built to last, just like yours truly. The colors are vibrant and bold, just the way I like them. My artistic endeavors – mostly abstract expressions of my inner peace and perhaps a quick sketch of a particularly appealing mud puddle – really pop on the pavement. The pigment is strong; even after a light rain (which, let's be honest, I rather enjoy), my masterpieces retain their impressive hues. And the durability! I may have accidentally stepped on a stick or two (purely accidental, of course), and they held up remarkably well. A little scuff, perhaps, but nothing that hindered my artistic flow. This chalk is clearly made for the rigors of the real world, not some delicate indoor drawing board. Cleanup is surprisingly efficient too. A good hosing down, and my temporary artwork returns the sidewalk to its pristine state. This is crucial; we rhinos believe in leaving things as we found them (mostly). Honestly, I was skeptical at first. Sidewalk chalk seemed like a rather… dainty pursuit. But this product has truly won me over. It's robust, the colors are fantastic, and it allows even a creature of my considerable stature to express himself creatively. Highly recommended! Five stars! I got these for the kids attending an upcoming block party. I generally like these, but there is a lot of chalk dust just upon opening the container. There is no wrapping around each stick, so they are very messy. I am not a neat freak, but other brands I have used before do not have nearly as much dust as these right out of the container. Several in the middle of the container are broken. That's ok in that the smaller kids can handle those better. I am still giving it 4 stars rather than 3 stars (because of all the dust) simply because there is a nice assortment of colors and I think the kids will have fun with them. Read more
