These are so cute! They fit snug when you first put them on, but I think that's normal for hiking shoes. They feel secure, and I love that they go up over my ankle. They have great traction, and I can wear them all day without them hurting my feet. I have not tested out how waterproof or water-resistant they are yet but they definitely appear well-made, and the material seems solid, so I don't anticipate any issues. I was so happy with these the moment I took them out of the box. They look like they’d be heavy, but they’re actually really lightweight. Right away they felt comfortable and supportive, and I don’t think they’ll need much of a break-in period. The fit is true to size. I ordered my usual 8, and they fit perfectly with room for socks. They do look exactly as pictured, but also, somehow, they are even prettier in person. The lighter part is a clean neutral shade and looks great against the darker parts. Even though I haven’t had the chance to fully test them hiking yet (summer in Las Vegas isn’t the time!), they feel really sturdy and well-built with the great traction you’d expect from Columbia. These hiking boots are easily the best I’ve ever owned. They are surprisingly comfortable and they for like a dream. They are sized exactly right so no need to size up or down. They are stylish and look amazing with jeans, shorts or hiking pants/joggers. I have not had the opportunity to test the waterproof capabilities but they seem like they will be super easy to clean.
