I ordered this tripod and it showed up missing the handle for the floating bowl. Amazon took care of it right away and had a replacement on the way in a couple days, so no complaints there. As for the tripod itself, it’s actually a bit better than I expected. The COMAN isn’t exactly pro-level, but it’s definitely not entry-level either. For the price, you’d be hard-pressed to find something with similar build quality and features. Overall, a solid tripod and a great bang for the buck. Should last for years. Read more
It's perfect for my Celestron spotting scope. My dovetail didn't fit or as lign, but the tripod's dovetail screwed nicely into mine for a solid connection. Read more

I recently acquired this tripod to complement my Canon M50, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The build quality is truly impressive, and it's evident that this tripod is designed for professional use. It provides the stability and sturdiness I need to capture smooth and shake-free shots, even in challenging conditions. Setting up this tripod is a breeze thanks to its user-friendly tube flip locking system. It's quick and convenient, which is crucial when time is of the essence on a shoot. The fluid head is a standout feature, allowing for 360-degree horizontal rotation and smooth operation. The dynamic balancing system ensures my pans and tilts are consistently fluid. What I appreciate most about this tripod is that it accommodates various camera brands, including my Canon M50, with its multifunctional quick release plate. The safety button on the fluid head adds an extra layer of security, giving me peace of mind during shoots. 5 Stars Review for Light Weight This Heavy Duty Tripod is a fantastic blend of strength and lightweight design. Despite its heavy-duty capabilities, it's surprisingly easy to transport and set up. This is especially important when I'm on location, as it means less strain on my shoulders and more convenience. So, a solid 5-star rating for its light weight. 5 Stars Review for Sturdiness Sturdiness is where this tripod truly excels. Its high-strength aluminum alloy double-row tube and 60mm bowl base provide exceptional stability, ensuring my camera and equipment stay secure even in challenging shooting conditions. The mid-level spreaders and adjustable rubber mats add to its stability, and I've never had to worry about my gear collapsing on uneven terrain. An easy 5-star rating for its rock-solid sturdiness. 5 Stars Review for Value for Money This tripod offers professional-level features and build quality at a price that won't break the bank. It's an excellent value for money, especially when compared to other high-end tripods on the market. The quality and performance it delivers make it a worthwhile investment for any serious photographer or videographer. A definite 5-star rating for its exceptional value for money. Why I Like It: "I'm thoroughly impressed with this "Heavy Duty" Tripod. It meets and exceeds my expectations in terms of build quality, stability, and value for money. It has quickly become an essential tool in my photography and videography kit, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I looked at many other tripods because I wanted to find one that was professional quality, heavy duty and priced at "fair" a value!" Read more
I've used this tripod twice and love the sturdiness and fluid movements of the head. I've seen a few reports of it falling apart and dropping cameras but defective products are going to happen. Just check it out completely before you use it. I am very happy but wish I'd waited for the $30 price drop as I bought two of them. Dohhhhhh! Read more
My tripod of 2 decades finally fell apart and I was excited by how sturdy this looked. Unfortunately the first time I took it out one of the leg locks broke. I swapped it for a new one, stupidly I didn't test it out, I just held on to it until I need it. Then when I took it out to use for the first time the same thing happened. The screw in the leg lock would keep popping out. Coman sent me new screws but it will not lock and they won't refund it because it's been too long. TWO had the exact same problem. Never even got to use it. Don't buy. EDIT: They sent me new screws but no instructions on how to use them. I had to take apart another lock to figure out what the problem was. We'll see if it lasts but try contacting them if you had this problem. A free screw may just be a bandaid but it'll save you buying a whole new tripod in a pinch. Read more
