These are nice and comfortable shorts. I tend to live in shorts during the spring, summer and even early fall so I know a fair bit about shorts. Here are the things that I like and a few that I don't: Likes: - These are made of Cotton, so they are fairly comfortable. - The material is thick enough so they feel sturdy but not so much that they will be too hot - The shorts are well made and give the feeling that they will wear well over several summers - I got the Navy Blue version, and the color is spot on. - The shorts fit exactly as expected. I got a medium and they are perfect in the waist and length. - I think the current discounted pricing of these shorts is appropriate and makes them a good value - These are machine washable so no hassle to just through them in with the rest of the laundry Dislikes: - According to the care label, these are not to be put in the dryer. I'm not sure why but maybe it is to preserve the color. - The shorts can wrinkle a bit after drying - I prefer shorts with at least one zippered pocket but unfortunately, these are just the standard pocket setup. I’m really pleased with the quality and feel of these chino shorts. They have that classic, clean look but with the comfort level of something much more casual. The Highlights: Perfect Fabric Weight: The cotton fabric is a great weight—substantial enough to feel durable, but light enough to stay cool. Incredible Softness: Even after just one wash, the material is very soft to the touch. Flexible Waistband: The waistband has a surprising amount of stretch to it. It makes them very comfortable for all-day wear and moving around. Versatile Style: The light blue color is a great neutral that pairs easily with a t-shirt or a button-down. I'd say they look a little bit more blue than my pics turned out but a lot less blue and more muted than the ad photo. Sizing & Care: Size Down Note: Because of how much the waistband stretches, if you find yourself between sizes, I would definitely recommend sizing down for the best fit. I wish I would have gone with a medium. Laundry Tip: As you can see in the photo, they do come out of the wash a little wrinkly since they are 100% cotton, but a quick steam or iron smooths them right out. I'm very happy with these casual, flat front shorts from Comdecevis. I picked out the Large size in Charcoal color and they match my expectations. The Charcoal color is a nice dark grey with a little bit of green tint to it. The large size was listed as a 36" waist with elastic accounting for a 35-37" range. The waist is comfortable without a belt but these shorts have 6 belt loops around the waist that fit a standard belt width. The fabric has a premium feel. The rear pockets are not symmetric, with one having a button closure and the other being open. The pocket depth is a good fit and comfortably fits my wallet and phone. I did notice the care tag said not to tumble dry the shorts, which is kind of uncommon for cotton fabric care in the USA. The tag also said these shorts were made in China. Read more

I have said this in other reviews before but. . .1. I am a former rugby player, and 2. I bike. A lot. So I have some pretty thick/muscular legs - calves and quads. So I get nervous with the fit on some shorts, since my waist size and leg size appear to be two completely different things. In this case, however. . .it worked out. I did order up one size, knowing my own body. It is a tiny bit loose in the waist, but still a nice comfortable fit. I could still do a nice stretch and jog in them, since there was a decent stretch quality to the fabric. They do look more fitted on my quads than perhaps intended, but they definitely still have a nice look. Pretty fair price. . .4.5/5, rounded up to five in the interest of fairness. Read more
