Recovered from a radial styloid fracture, unfortunately wrist still has slight inflamation and thumb developed tendonitis. Healing of the fracture was successful, recovering from the inflammation is slow. My hand therapist suggested I use a wrist and thumb split to help with thumb and wrist tendonitis. After researching the options and reading reviews, I elected to purchase the Comforband Quick-Strap Splint in the S/M size. My wrist measures slightly over 6.5" with a small hand. I find the fit to be extremely comfortable and supportive. It fits over most of my thumb, leaving a very bit of the tip exposed. I must wear it during sleep and quite pleased that it does not disturb my sleep at all. I wake up with less stiffness and pain the before wearing this split. Pain during the day is also reduced. I feel this helps my wrist stabilize when wearing and gives the right amount of support. Compared to the removable cast and the good splint that did not have thumb support feature, this is the most comfortable of the three! Helps with stability of wrist, thumb, hand. The thumb can be made so it does not move at all, which I needed. I really like it, Slept in it as well with no problems. It can be adjusted so the hand, thumb area are not so rigid, I loosen if I want to use my tablet. There is a bracket in the thumb area, and on the palm area for support. When ready to take off just loosen the strap that goes across the wrist, the hand just slips out, no need to loosen the thumb area. Easy on-easy off! My new best friend! Read more

It's easy to end up pulling this a little too tight, cutting off sensation, so finding the appropriate tension takes some experimenting, but this absolutely helped to stabilize my thumb after some overenthusiastic crocheting. I'd been sore for weeks; after less than a week wearing this, I was just about back to normal. I'm prone to messing up my wrist anyway, so having it around when something starts to pinch has been well worth it. Read more

This fits my hand as I need. I got the small medium but I really needed an x-small / small but not an option. I’ve worn it non-stop since October ( 4 months ) for DeQuarvens tendinitis.
