I bought these to use at the gas pump when I fill up my vehicles. We keep a box in three vehicles, and gave one to my daughter for her truck. These gloves are sturdy enough for a variety of kitchen prep and cleaning tasks. They are great for handling raw meats, forming meat balls, breading chicken, slicing and deseeding hot peppers, etc. They also protect hands when scrubbing fixtures, bleaching the sink, cleaning up cat yack, and other icky tasks. They are reasonably priced. I don't feel guilty when I pull them off and throw them away. They allow me to keep my lined rubber gloves for more pristine uses. Another nice feature: when taking the used gloves off, turn them clean side out and drop in meat trimmings, onion and garlic peels, and other soon-to-be-stinky small food scraps before adding to the trash. In my neighborhood, we have black bear activity. We never put raw meat in the trash. Instead, we freeze scraps and toss them into the garbage just before trash collection. I like the fairly loose fit and they're easy to get on and off. I use them for handling raw meat but probably wouldn't count on them for stuff that's sticky. I wish the packaging kept them from becoming a chaotic ball of loose gloves but otherwise they're very reliable Read more

For background, I wanted something that was oversized so that the glovers would slip on and off easily. I was also okay with the expected mediocre strength since the gloves were mostly for light-duty, short-term tasks. First, these gloves are oversized for me and they do indeed slip on and off easily. However, my hands are in the small-medium range. I expect that someone with large or very large hands might not consider these gloves that oversized. Also, the glove length is not quite as long as I expected from the photos in the ad. The gloves tended to ride up when in use unless secured (e.g., with rubber bands). Longer length would be preferable. Second, as expected, the plastic is relatively thin and weak. (For comparison, the typical disposable clear plastic gloves that come with hair dye products are considerably stronger.) These gloves had adequate strength for light-duty food preparation tasks. In contrast, they did hold up well for more demanding uses. However, by doubling up with a second pair of gloves over the first one, I was able to carry out some more demanding tasks without getting any messy materials on my hands. Read more
